We provide friendly services in all areas of cardiology.Dr Chin Lim and Dr Josh Tsai are located within The Cairns Private Hospital. We provide both in and out patient care, offering multiple procedures and investigations to diagnose and treat coronary heart disease. Dr Lim speaks multiple languages including Cantonese, Hokkien, English, Indonesian and some Mandarin. Dr Tsai speaks English and Mandarin.

Dr. Chin A Lim

Clinical and Pacing Cardiologist who graduated with Honours from the University of New South Whales. He went on to complete his specialty training in Cardiology at the St. Vincents Hospital in Sydney. At St. Vincents, he had the opportunity to work alongside the late Dr Victor Chang and his team of heart failure specialists at the National Heart Transplant Centre.  His interests include the management of structural and valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and heart failure.  Dr Lim also performs Pacemaker device implantation.

He established Cairns first Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in 1999 and implanted North Queenslands first ICD in 2002.

Dr Josh Tsai

Dr Josh Tsai is a Clinical Cardiologist who completed advanced training in Cardiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. His interests include the management of structural and valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and heart failure.

Dr Tsai performs transthoracic echocardiography, trans-oesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography and diagnostic coronary angiography.
